“Telling more than we can know”

My cat that keeps me company on these study nights was just telling me more than he can know. He was meowing (which he rarely does) while lying on my desk (which he often does) in a weird sort of sad way. What does it mean? I’m guessing a hairball or something. Yuck.
I’ve mentioned that my work is pretty crazy lately, for various reasons. But today I had a few conversations that, while painful, brought us to a good place. A place that is stable and which promises a future that fits into a structure of logic. Yeah, that is terribly nerdy so I’ll digress…
I spent most of this night reviewing the articles on “consciousness” for the class I have tomorrow on the psychology of information systems. The material is interesting and relates to subject matter that is unfamiliar enough to be interesting and relevant enough to find meaning and association in my aforementioned “work.”
But alas, it is almost time for me to crash. If I’m to get my allotted 5.5 hours of sleep tonight I’ve got to be wrapping this up.
School house rocks…why? Because some of us just love to learn. Its that simple.
Image: I’m running low on good images so I’m using one I took last night. This is the keyboard that I pound away on like a shakespearian monkey of lure hoping to produce something of meaning and enchantment.
