Start of classes

I haven’t been to class yet but was up late last night reading for a one I have today. I can tell it’s going to be a lot of work but the material is very interesting. At this point (because it’s early) I’m feeling optimistic.

After two semesters of classes I’m hoping there aren’t any nasty surprises in store for me. I have a sense of the work two classes entail. Admittedly, I feel less panicky about things this time. We’ll see how that lasts eh?

This last weekend W. and I worked hard to finish our painting project then spent some time getting the house in order. I did a fair amount of organizing in my basement office in preparation from spending my evenings there working on class assignments. The rest of the time we relaxed, watched U.S. Open tennis, went for walks, and relaxed. It was a nice close of summer vacation.
