ATTN: SERVER DOWNTIME THIS WEEKEND

The company keeping this server powered and connected to the internet has been bought out. As part of the restructuring all servers are being relocated to a different storage facility. This site and all others hosted on “interspike.com” will be unavailable during this time. Backups are being taken in the event of technical failure.

Details from the hosting company:

The 12-15 hour outage will take place beginning this Friday July 27th at 8 PM EDT. The outage time will be incremental for customers. Therefore, if your server is taken off line at 8 PM EDT, you should expect your server to be back on line between 8 AM and 11 AM on Saturday July 28th. The estimated completion of the project is July 28th at 7 PM EDT.

I’m hoping all goes well and services come online as expected.

My plan (delayed due to lack of funding for a machine) is to build out my own server and have it hosted at a co-location facility about an hour away. The current machine hosting interspike.com is hosted at a data center in Florida.

    finally, my son…and, i am impressed. i didn’t realize that you knew how to write that well…ha ha ha. first…you are an “uncle” as well. i’ve been at my computer for 2 days now…well, not constantly. i was able to purchase ink cartridges and, that’s all it took. suddenly i want it ALL! my “line of work” allows me to sit on my butt all day…kinda. after i clean the house…make everyone (everyone?) is set for another day…i plop my butt in this chair. i have read a LOT about epilepsy and it saddens me…however, i am here to talk about it…and that is a blessing. life will go on. i figured since your “birth father” was writing that your “birth mother” should, as well. amazing, i read FOREVER about you, your “blog” and quite amazing, i could have read that not knowing the author and i would have said, “my son wrote that”. another new change i am making here at the old corral(?) – i’ve decided to sell, throw away, whatever my “stuff”. it’s in MY space now. it’s time to clean up. including my precious moments – it’s funny, but NONE of those ceramic “jiggybutts” were ever “precious” to me. it’s time to move on……
    well, my PRECIOUS” son, i need to clean the kitchen, since the 2 ogres that live here don’t know how. duh……………………………… my love you you and W. mom
