Where to draw a line

Sometimes it can be tough to know where to draw a line. I learned in drawing class years ago that lines, true lines, don’t exist in nature. There is no such thing as a “line”, by itself, lounging on a rock or hanging out on the beach. Even a line on screen or a piece of paper has dimension.
So how does one draw a line? And I’m not meaning in the artistic sense. What I mean is, how do you know when you should make the decision to do something and hold the line that the decision being made is yours to make? Some things just aren’t so clear. In a world of gray tones, finding that area where there is a definate change in tone can be challenging.
Understanding one’s locus of control is important when deciding where to draw, and hold, a line. But since this area of control isn’t always clear either, sometimes you just have to wing it. Actually, most of the time you have to wing it. But wing it good…like Kip.
Image: Took this picture through the sunroof of W.’s car on the way up north this last weekend. Cloud pictures are cool. Clown pictures are not.

either you’re way ahead of me or i’ve slacked on reading your blogs. the photos you take are almost as good as your drawings.
charlevoix is beautiful anytime of the year. there’s a great resale shop (the name??? i don’t remember) in the alley downtown. i once purchased a beautiful orangy/olive greeny suit for $3 – it was on sale. i still have it.
reading your blogs have certainly opened my eyes to how much responsibility you’ve accepted –
hang in there punkin…you have yet to know your true strengths
VERY cool picture!
Crazy the picture you can get doing 65 mph on a county road.
I thought it had a hint of Van Gogh style to it.
Thanks for the encouraging words Ma. I try to look around every now and then, but otherwise, I’m hanging on like a spider monkey.
